I really am amazed at how this team has improved. Early in the season including the first 6 or so MAC games they couldn't finish. They certainly corrected that problem. Keep it up.

While BG has the overall lead, it looks like KSU and EMU are the strongest teams now. And BG has struggled against both.
Lindsay has done another incredible job.

Lindsay has done a very nice job with this team. The one question i always had was has he had offers to leave for bigger programs? I here its almost discrimatory for men to advance in the womens' programs. Any insights

I always assumed that given Lindsay's reseume that he must have had other offers, but yes it is getting pretty hard for men to get hired as head coaches for about the past decade. Its not ideal, but not a horible injustice considering the amount of women coaching men's teams. I know that Associate Head Coach Lori Bodnar has had many offers to take head coaching jobs else where but has stayed at KSU. Their is a tremendous amount of loyaility to KSU on staff. 04-rock

It could be that Bob Lindsay is the highest paid person in the entire athletic department.

And we think the men's record is good. From the KSU Media Guide for today's game:

"Lindsay One Away From 10th 20-Win Season
With a win over Ohio Wednesday, head coach Bob Lindsay can record his 10th 20-win season in his 16 years at Kent State. Lindsay’s Golden Flashes turned in seven consecutive 20-win seasons from 1996-2002, including a school-record 25 wins during the 1999-2000 season. Lindsay’s teams have never won fewer than 16 games in a season
after his first year in 1989-90..

Good luck tonight ladies! 04-rock
