Houston Nutt was on KTUL's "You Make The Call" call-in show Sunday night. KTUL is Tulsa's ABC affiliate, and the crew went over to Fayetteville to do the show. Great for Arkansas to get that extra coverage in Tulsa.

As for things he said..

On QBs - "We have 3 QBs that can win. The thing we wanted most by keeping them all at #1 on the depth chart was to stay confident and work harder. It has shown with all three of them."

On Matt Jones - "No matter what, Matt Jones will be somewhere on the field playing."

On the SEC Media - "They've picked us at the bottom every year but one, the year after '98. That suits me fine. We enjoy being the underdog and we'll just have to surprise people all over again."

On the 7OT game - "Great road victory for our team. That game also determined the emotions for the rest of the seasons for both teams. Notice how Ole Miss, 6-1 before that game, played after that loss. It was a tough one that no one deserved to lose."

On adding Texas for 03 - "The SEC is so tough every year, adding this one is really a challenge for us. But Arkansas fans love to play Texas, and love to beat Texas, so we're bringing them in."

On future schedule plans - "We used to play Tulsa and Oklahoma State every year to open the season in the 60s and 70s. We bring back Tulsa next year, and I'd like to bring back Oklahoma State as well. We're working on bringing Tulsa and Oklahoma State to open off the season every year."

On his top newcomers - "They could all shine, and we don't know who will play right off this year or not. But the names given on the phone (Vickiel Vaughn and Tony Ugoh) certainly will be ones to watch."
