I think the thing you enjoy most is toying with The Knight Time. I may not agree with a lot of his point of view, but he's definitely a passionate UCF fan.

I think UCF is 10 years out from going big time... I expect to have a losing season this year..3 or 4 wins is a good guess. Oleary cleaned house last year.. rebuilding has begun but we will still be pretty young.. and have more but still not enough depth. If we can have another solid recruiting class... ours ranked 3rd in cusa this year.. which i expect to happen especially if we break ground on new stadium early summer.... with 7 home games in 06.. I think a bowl is a real possibility.

get a clue, the attendance rule is for the most part a non factor, but you are one of the schools that should have been worried about it. You had one game that eased it for you.

This sounds like "anti-UCF" or "anti-MAC" type thread, but I'll give this a try.

First off...Yes we had a bad year! Agreed. When UCF was an Indy we did pretty well against the MAC. Our first year of MAC play we only lost 2 MAC games by a combined score of 8. We had 67 players on scholarship last year...That is pretty much a D-1aa team. No excuses, but those are facts...We will move on...Yes Kruz passed on Omar Jacobs too. I still thought that was a stupid decision in recruiting time.

Second...The MAC was good to UCF. Gave us a conference schedule and we balanced off your conference schedule with an even 14 teams. We also gave the MAC some exposure with our multiple ESPN games and Sunshine Network deal.


Leaving the MAC was a simple choice for UCF. We were stuck out of place with little chance of joining for all-sports(financial Knightmare). Temple gives you a team that is closer to your region. They will also fair better than playing Va. Tech, Miami, and BC on a regular basis.

I respect the MAC...it just doesn't make sense for UCF or the MAC to continue.
