I'm just drooling at the chance to add a school that's ranked 8th worse in this ranking(IMO even that rankling seems high for them). That will really increase the perception of the conference.

Solich should get Ohio competitive. Wins might not happen until years 3-4 when his recruits start to have an impact. Next years class should be much improved since Solich has created such a buzz already. Most top recruits had their minds made up by the time he was hired. Next year, Ohio will get a look from some recruits that in the past would have passed over Ohio. Having a packed Peden this fall will have a huge impact on the program. The excitement for Ohio football is bigger now than anytime in recent years. I was down in Florida on vacation wearing my Bobcats hat, and a starter on a local golf course noticed and mentioned he was from Nelsonville, Ohio and he had his masters from OU. The topic quickly changed to Frank Solich. This guy was in his 70's. If he's excited about the cats, think about howpumped the students are.
