Here is a link from today's Ann Arbor News regarding a "Meet The Coach" event held for EMU's new hoops coach, Charles Ramsey. Solid turnout with great support from the administration. Ramsey stated that he wanted this to be his "first and only head coaching job." Also, it was announced that EMU will open on Nov 18 by bringing California to the Convo.

Ramsey has completed his coaching staff and one of the highlights is his hiring of former EMU great Carl Thomas as one of his assistants. Ramsey is in the process of restoring some much needed ties. One downer though is word that it appears that Darryl Garrett could not handle the academics at EMU and will be transferring to Schoolcraft CC. So, Ramsey has his work cut out for him that's for sure.
