...'til September 6, 2003, when Auburn gets their next opportunity to wreck Tech!

My stepdad has told me stories of AU students greasing the tracks at the train station in Auburn just before the train carrying the Tech football team was to arrive for the AU-GT game back in the early Sixties. The train would not be able to stop, and would overshoot the station by about a mile, then would be unable to back up because of the lack of traction. The Tech players would have to walk back to catch their ride at the station. <img border="0" alt="[laugh]" title="" src="graemlins/laughing.gif" />
