Why don't we worry about the Muts before the Sox?
F'ing awful performance today. This bullpen sucks and our offense did a great job of taking the final 7 innings off. Way to go, jackasses

Lou Pinella = Dusty Baker
Both have a knack for losing 1-run games.
And why Cub fans would show clips and pictures of the AJ punch is beyond me. A sucker punch is something to be ashamed of, not exactly a gutsy move, and if I were a Cub fan I would want to bury that in my team history instead of trying to recall it.

Cub fans love that sucker punch video so much because they are jealous that the White Sox won the World Series in 05. It is a classic psychological response often seen in jealous children. We Sox fans have to have patience with these guys and realize that "Cubfandom" is a real disorder that often exhibits, but is not limited to, the following symptoms:
-A "Lemming" mentality. Many Cub fans become Cub fans because other people are Cub fans. Thus, they like to spend a lot of time talking about how many Cub fans there are. Researchers are currently looking into why this symptom is so prevalent in Iowa residents and among frat boys.
-A skewed view of reality. Thus, we often hear the Cub fan say things in early September, when their team is 13 games out of first, such as, "If the Marlins can sweep the Astros, and the Cardinals can lose 8 out of their next 9, and the Brewers could just have a bus crash, we really have a shot at this thing". Often you can hear a person afficted with "Cubfandom" mumbling "Wait until next year" under their breath. Another manifestation of this symptom is their belief that their rundown, piss-stinking stadium is somehow "beautiful".
-A strong "Messianic complex". Their "messiah figures" often, but not exclusivly, take the form of managers (Zimmer, Baker, Pinella, etc.).
As annoying as they are, we need to understand that this is a disease and they cannot help it. So if we have to put up with silly videos of grown men throwing sucker punches and annoying comments about the White Sox "cheating" to win the Series, remember that "there but for the grace of God...".

I've always taken that video clip as proof of the simple truth about AJ that Sox fans understand better than anyone...
That he's annoying as hell when he plays for the opposing team, but when he's on your team, you love having him.

GO CUBS GO!!!
what happens when the Cubs lose both the series to the Mets AND the Sox?

There are actually some truths in this bit of humor...especially the "Lemming Mentality"...
