This is great news! Pin head Phil Martelli knows a player when he sees one.

Mardy is getting lots of playing time and is averaging over 10 ppg.
Not bad for a guy not expected to be invited OR to make it.
GO MARDY!
"With six players averaging in double figures through two games, the United States is a well-balanced scoring machine. The USA's 110.0 ppg. output eclipses its opponents 66.5 ppg. by 43.5 pg. Leading the charge is Rajon Rondo with 14.0 ppg., while Rudy Gay (13.0 ppg.), Curtis Withers (12.5 ppg.), Taj Gray (11.5 ppg.), Mardy Collins (11.0 ppg.) and Justin Gray (10.5 ppg.) are not far behind. Glen Davis (5.5 rpg.) and Nick Fazekas (6.5 rpg.) are leading the USA's efforts on the glass. The minutes have been well-distributed as well, with Collins and Marcus Williams registering the most playing time at 20.5 minutes a game. The USA's defensive pressure, led by Rondo's 6.0 spg., has produced 19.5 steals a game. The squad is also making a name for itself from beyond the arc, after nailing 24-of-57 (.421) in two games.
