We're going all out for the victory this year. We're not sacrificing KFC this time.........we're getting a live chicken. :D

Hold that thought. Martin just announced that our best RB, who he tried to make into a receiver, is moving back to RB against Miami.
Jon Drager is a stud. He was the fifth leading rusher in PA preps his senior year and actually lead the state in TDs. He's been a Flash favorite since he ran back a punt in his first game agianst the Zips to set up a no time out FG.
For some unexplainable reason, Pees switched him to safety his frosh year . Jon was hurt all of last year, then tried at receiver and kick returner this year. Made a few nice runs on both in both games- he's big enough, hits the holes quickly and breaks tackles.
Now he's back "home" and will make a big difference in our offense this fall, hopefully starting Saturday.

DB certainly was a need in 2003 when Drager was a freshman. At that point, KSU thought Alston would have a healthy two years left and fellow freshman Kevin Beverly would hold on to the ball more than every other play. I'm guessing there was also some thought that Drager was too small to hold up as a running back. At that point, KSU was still running most of their plays from under center, and they still used some traps and stretch plays.
Also, it could be attributed to being such a demon on special teams. There may have been some thought of not overusing when he was a freshman. Now, you use him every way imaginable.
