Greetings, one and all. Man, I haven't seen an exodus of this magnitude since Jed,Jethro, Ellie Mae and Granny loaded up the truck moved to Beverly - Hills, that is.

Peanut actually posted a message claiming that he didn't want the Fantasy Squad to leave, so I guess he's not looking forward to being left behind w/ only Dio for company.

Btw, Ellie Mae was a Louisiana girl, and my Mayberry name was Goober.

Hi-ya, Lou! Thanks for stopping by the new manse and checking out the party. NPR and I figured out last night over pasta that HE'S the one to blame for this "mass exodus." Just one little word in the right ear and VROOOOM! LIKE A RAT OUT OF AN AQUEDUCT!

I'm digging the no eternal OU T-shirt sale. What do the higher ups think of our leavetaking. Have they even noticed?

JBR,

I haven't seen anything on the main board about you guys leaving, but I do know that the message which mentioned this site has been deleted. I'm kinda surprised that the Editor didn't respond to the complaints in a timely manner, but he might be regretting that (in)decision right about now.

I'll keep you posted if anything develops. Since you guys didn't post too much on the main board, and since the other message on the Ole Miss board was deleted, it might take people a while to notice. I still have never had any trouble logging on over there. In fact, that situation seemingly improved once the new board was put in place.

P.S. - Hey, who's the "Rufus" who gave me a 1-star rating?!! I have my su****ions, but I'll lay low for the time being. Maybe I can hire Barney to get to the bottom of this!!(I guess somebody wants me to haul my arse back over to the old place!). [Image: 50spennantsmpurple-vi.jpg]

Well, ol' Goober can rest easy now, knowing full well that Deputy Fife is on the job!

Judy! Judy! Judy!

P.S. - Great pic, btw.

I was able to send an email to the Editor (Matt) and he actually wrote me back and said there wasn't anything wrong with my log-on and he didn't have any trouble logging on. I haven't rated you yet, so I'm not the Rufus/doofus ... hehehe <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" />

MsNole,

I guess I've been lucky, since I just haven't experienced any probs over on the old board.

Believe it or not, you weren't the person I most suspected of "low-rating" me(you were way back at #2!). I've had a rather contentious relationship w/ one particular poster who is also now over here, so I have a feeling he did the dirty deed. Actually, I couldn't care less about it, but it did catch my attention, though.

You must really be excited, b/c your team kicks it off in a couple of hours. I know I'm already settin' on dead-red for LSU's opener, and it's still 8 days away.

Good luck vs. ISU. I see FSU winning comfortably, but I don't think the Noles will bury 'em, though. ISU has a great coach and QB, and I think they'll keep their team from being totally embarrassed. You never know, though.
