Since I had the rank the rivalries...just some good OOC rivalries I think for all 12 SEC schools.

Alabama - Florida State, Memphis (the Means Bowl), and Georgia Tech

Arkansas - Missouri, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M (plans are for us to open every yr with Tulsa and OK State, but I'd like Mizzou and A&M too)

Auburn - Georgia Tech, Florida State

Florida - Miami (already got), Clemson

Georgia - Clemson, Florida State

Kentucky - Ohio State, West Virginia

LSU - Southern Miss, Texas A&M

Ole Miss - Memphis, Georgia Tech, Tulane

Miss. State - Southern Miss, Tulane

S. Carolina - N. Carolina, Virginia, NC State

Tennessee - Virginia, Miami, Clemson

Vanderbilt - Memphis, Wake Forest, Duke

Tennessee-G Tech is one that used to be a good rivalry that I miss, personally. I also would like for us to play the Hokies every once in awhile.

Hey callin' the hogs - we just discussed this a little on another board - I too feel it would be great if we played Mizzou and Okie State each year - maybe Memphis or La Tech as well and then throw in someone like A&M or Texas or USC for a two year series - we'd have some good rivalries with these middle-of-the-road Big 12 neighbors but we'd always know we had a chance to win too - it would be nice to travel to Stillwater and Columbia as well - what you wrote about Okie State and Tulsa being upcoming regular opponents, where did you get that information? - go hogs - Arkansan

Arkansan... I got that information straight from the mouth of Houston Nutt. Heard it when he was on KTUL's (ABC in Tulsa) "You Make The Call" call-in show. He said he wants an annual deal with Tulsa and OK State and was working on it

Nice to see you here..post often and enjoy.

The series was discontinued in '63 or '64 and wasn't started again until the early '80s. We haven't played since '84 or '85, but I'd love to see it restarted.

The GT/Auburn series starts back up in Atlanta next year, then we play at Auburn in '04. I'm excited about playing another team from the SEC.

I'm with orangetd88 on the idea of Tech playing Tennessee again. There was some intense battles in that series way back in time.

Living in Richmond it is fun to watch the UVA-Va Tech folks go at it. The most fun is the Hampden Sydney--Randolph Macon weekend. whew,,,,,,,,,,,,,
