This is a thread going on another board, I thought it'd be interesting to start it here.

What, in your opinion, were the 5 best SEC games of last year?

My picks....

1) Arkansas 58, Ole Miss 56 (7 OTs)- the national 'game of the year' winner by ESPN and CNNSI, it was the longest game in college football history, and set 9 NCAA records.

SIDENOTE on this one: The College Football Hall of Fame has a display featuring this game. Arkansas and Ole Miss were asked to send footballs to the HoF for the display. The Arkansas football has the stats, score, records broken, and signatures from the whole team. Ole Miss sent a football with just Eli Manning's autograph on it. Think Eli-mania's a little overdone there?

2) Georgia 26, Tennessee 24
Great last second comeback by Georgia in Knoxville to win it.

3) Arkansas 10, South Carolina 7
The "**** Block in Little Rock", Carlos Hall blocks a potential game-tying FG with under a minute to go. Houston Nutt defeats his mentor again in Little Rock. Holtz later filed a complaint with the SEC, saying the noise in Little Rock was "too loud for our players".

4) Ole Miss 27, Alabama 24
I think it was this game that got the Eli fever sweeping across Mississippi. Tide suffers another 4th quarter collapse.

5) South Carolina 37, Alabama 36
Gamecocks score two TDs in the last six minutes to earn their first victory over Alabama.

1. Auburn/Florida. come on the underdog vs the bigdog. Duvall did it again.

2. Tennesse/Florida. Finally in the Swamp.

3. Georgia/Tennessee. Great play from Mark Richt late in the game. What the hell happened vs Auburn.

4. Ole Miss/Alabama. Great game back and forth. Ole miss finally beats bama.

5. Bama/Auburn....hey they needed something to cheer about. the ncaa was hammering them that day at their trial in indianapolis.
