There's a new sheriff in town. He brought Furman to national prominence at the I-AA level and I have no doubt that we'll be going bowling in the next 2-3 years. I'm not saying we will win the East, but we'll give 'em hell every week!

"Vandy beating Georgia Tech: 7.91 x 10^1,643,211th "

You know, that statement would have been alot more funny if you actually completed the ratio correctly.

It should be 7.91 x 10^1,643,211 : 1. Otherwise, people could assume whatever they want, like 7.91 x 10^1,643,211 : 7.91 x 10^1,643,211, which would mean that Vandy has a 50/50 shot.

And to think, you are a fan of a place that has the name "Tech" in it....

Jeremy..if you've ever seen "Jingle My Bells", "Fu*k of the Irish", "Memorial Lay", or "The American Cream"..you'd know Gabi's name.

We're shooting an educational 'after school special' porn..I mean film..next... all I'll say is Gabi wears that little school girl outfit and is deadly with a piece of chalk . God I love being the co-star.

Gee, and I though CFN was the only board that could go from football to porno in just two posts

As for Vandy's current status, I am fairly confident that it wont be a great year just becuase the talent is too young. There are a few returning seniors (mostly in the secondary), but a good chunk of both sides of the ball are being replaced this year.

Dan Stricker may get another 1000 receiving yards this year, but without Zolman, that is going to be a tough task for the new quaterback/s.

I like the new coach though. He is almost as annoying as Zook with his standing rule. He is requiring short haircuts for all his players, so most of them have showed up with shaved heads .

Johnson also has a seven man TV crew constantly filming their practices and reviewing the tape with the assistant coaches to find places where they can point out to the players some of the mistakes they are making.

All in all, I think it will take a few years, but a bowl wouldn't be out of the question in about three years I think (basically when all of the incoming freshman have had time to mature).

One question I have...if you really are not going to be cellar dwellars anymore, who are you going tobeat consistantly in the East? UT? Florida? USC? UGA? To wake a progrma up from the dead, BJ (LOL) is going to have to strat beating somebody in the conference consistantly year in and year out. As with Woody, Dowhower, Dinardo, Brown, etc., it just isn't going to happen.
