I will have to admit to being a very poor ECU basketball fan. While at ECU I got a chance to go see Blue Edwards play a lot. Since that time I have been to maybe 6 games.
I love ECU Football and ECU baseball. If I was allowed to put in a wish for ECU to win a National Championship in a sport, I would wish for a Football National Championship 1st, College World Series Champ 2nd and a NCAA Basketball Championship 3rd.
I know the NCAA Basketball Championship would be more important to the University then the World Series but I just love Pirate Baseball more.

It should be pointed out that it is actually possible for us to win a national championship in Basketball, but completely impossible at all for us to win a national championship in football.

I beg to differ. There's a difference between "all but impossible" and "completely impossible", and we fall into the former. It'd be a tough task given our current situation, but it's not completely impossible.
