23-30 is ECU's record against the current Big East, BTW. Take that for what it is.

This should be our last matchup for a while, because why would we schedule another game against such insignificant competition?

I guess you would consider Elon and Florida Atlantic significant competition??
Both defenses played a good game. Throw out the turnover and touchdown that we gave up and our defense allowed 17pts. USF won the turnover battle and as a result won the game.

9-1 Elon

9-15 @ Auburn
9-22 North Carolina
9-29 @ Florida Atlantic

Why are you still talking? The game wasn't even close, if our starting Freshman QB wouldn't have gotten hurt, we would have scored 40+ points. Your TD was a lucky 3rd and long bomb. Compare our schedule with everyother major conference school and you will always see a easy team usually for week one. I think playing Auburn on the road clearly makes up for that.

Maybe because this is the EAST CAROLINA board. A better question: why did you make up a handle just for this game? How flattering that ECU means so much to you that you'd include them in your handle.

Are you talking about the Offensive powerhouse and QB that led your team to grand total of 12 first downs???
You got an easy T.D. on a turnover and another on a short field other then that our defense held its own, made adjustments at halftime and were stuffing your all star QB in the 2nd Quarter before he got injured.
ECU went 0-4 in the redzone, coughed up the ball too many times and still held our own. We were our own worst enemies.
Your team put in a good performance and deserved to win the game so you don't have to be a ******* about it but having met a lot of your ******* fans up close it is no surprise you would be one as well.

I was also responding to a dumbarse post about USF only scheduling significant games from here on out. If you guys consider Elon and Florida Atlantic significant games then you still have a ways to go. You will be ass raped by Auburn and if your fans bring their horns back to Alabama they will drive back to Central Florida with those horns shoved up their arse.
Try the Auburn rhymes with Gay sign. I will pay you $500 to walk through the Auburn section with that sign complete with a set of Bull horns.

I have to agree. I'm not suggesting that USF isn't the better team, but to act like that game's outcome was all because of USF's great play is ridiculous. We played a terrible game. We didn't bother to get off the bus. You just can't afford to play like that agianst a solid team.

Agian, I have to point out, that almost everything that was said on this thread stands true. USF is indeed located in Tampa, a good 200+ miles from what the rest of the world would consider "South Florida", their colorguard is busted, and they have poor attendance for a school their size with a great football team. Where does any of that set us up for embarrassment? What was embarrassing was the Pirates play on the field. We've done nothing but laid out solid gold smack here, and dare I say, we are proud of it. Heck, it succeeded in driving USF>ECU stupid enough to create a handle specifically to make lame attempts to refute.

Your own worst enemy? More like it was because of USF that your team went 0-4 in the redzone and the swarming defense kept forcing turnovers.

I was at a Auburn game this year, for $500 I'll go again next year.

There is the first good post I have seen from you guys.

Quote:Agian, I have to point out, that almost everything that was said on this thread stands true. USF is indeed located in Tampa, a good 200+ miles from what the rest of the world would consider "South Florida",

Quote:their colorguard is busted
Well you have to dig pretty low to complain about our colorguard.

Quote:and they have poor attendance for a school their size with a great football team.
You're right about that. USF is a relatively newer school, just building our traditions and alumni. It will get there I have no doubt about that. Each year its getting better.

I'm sorry. They left that whole part out in my geography classes: The part where you justify the naming of a major university based on the racial demographics of a geographic area. Also, I've never heard our country refered to as "the America".

Dude, you have very thin skin.

Its a joke, relax. Seriously though, USF was founded in Tampa because of a very influential Sam Gibbons and at the time, was the southern most public university in the state.
