Seriously, I have no idea who we're going to land as our next coach, but as long as:

1) Bunting will not be back in '07, and
2) our next head coach is actually qualified for the job...

I'm a HAPPY camper.

All fans have the tendency to overestimate the attractiveness of their program. UNC fans are no different. They clearly have the money and the facilities and the Conference. The trick is always getting a coach who can bring a quality staff and can recruit. Unc is one of those great mysteries. Kind of like Kentucky, great basketball all the money in the world to spend yet the football program sucks.

Like I said, as long as we hire a coach who's actually QUALIFIED upon arrival, I'll be very happy. If we locate a coach in the "Jim Tressel" mold, a very successful D1-AA coach with a proven track record, I'll damn near be tickled pink.
