I might be looking into relocating to the Jackson,MS area sometime next year.
Any good information or websites about this area that you fine MS folks could share would be great.

Thanks, and Go Herd, and go C-USA!

I live in the Jackson area myself. Here are a couple of sites to get you started; let me know what else you need.

http://www.visitjackson.com/

http://www.clarionledger.com/

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackson,_Mississippi

http://www.madisonthecity.com/Home.htm

http://www.ridgelandms.org/

http://www.cityofbrandon.net/

Don't know anything about this realtor, but thought the site might have some good info:

Let me know of anything else you might need. PM me if you want to get into more details.

Here's some good information...STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM JACKSON!!!! Stick to the surrounding areas of Brandon, Clinton, Madison, Flowood, Ross Barnett Resevoir area...anything but the City of Jackson. On the other hand, if you are a criminal looking to set up shop, Jackson is an ideal location for you.

If you do relocate move to the Brandon or Pearl area. Very nice clean, good schools etc.

Ditto..... Don't even slow down in Jackson. I slowed down on Hwy 80 near Battlefield Park last friday to ask directions to Clinton High School. Two crack dealers came running to my car and started fighting with each other over who was gonna sell me some "rock". Most of Rankin County and the city of Madison are okay just stay out of the city.
