Two in one week? November 27th and 30th

Can the University of Georgia's athletic program take a hit like this against its rival in one week?

Honestly doesn't Georgia Tech have head to head losing record the Dawgs in hoops for the last 2 or 3 years? Don't we finish as the higher ranked team at the end of every recent season? Why will this year be different? It won't.

Question: When is the last time Georgia Tech finished higher than Georgia in the Sear's Trophy for intercollegiate athletic programs?

Answer: The next time it happens will be the first time.

We've lost the last 3 to the Dawgs. But, we've finished with a better record in 2 of those 3 years. In 2000, you guys were something like 8-20, we were 15-16. Not much to brag about, but in '01, UGA went 16-15 and we went 17-13. Last year we went 15-16 but ended the season winning 9 of our last 12. UGA won about 20 games but got ousted by the Salukis in the tourney. All in all, I like where we are.

The fact that we don't have a world class gymnastics program really drags us down... 03-razz

Once the NCAA begins sanctioning Star Trek trivia and ugly women competitions as collegiate sports, then Tech will sporting chance against Georgia in the Sears Trophy.

Well, y'all had one twenty years ago when Vandy actually won a few games. The closest one y'all have now is Memphis, if you can call it that. They tried to make a rivalry out of y'all for a while there, beating you once and playing UT close in almost every game.

Don't tell him this - but he got schooled by not one... not two... but three different point guards. Have a nice day!

Where are all the Nerds now? We almost scored as many point in football against Tech as they scored in Basketball against us. We would have if we didn't have the 3rd string in the 3rd quarter against their starters.
