Amid controversy and NCAA investigations, the Wolverines stumbled out of the gate to an 0-6 start. Since then they have quietly reeled off something like 13 straight wins, including the most recent against rival Michigan St in Ann Arbour. Michigan has been my second favorite college team for years and it hurt to see them have such a cloud over their heads this season. However it seems Amaker has focused his team on the important thing--playing with class and heart.

Michigan is an amazing story, for sure.

Illinois just ended their winning streak ... but they're still atop the Big 10. I'm just glad IU only meets Michigan once this season ...at Assembly Hall

They have already beat us. I can't believe how they have turned it around. With them being on probation and all, is Amaker still up for Big 10 coach of the year? If so, he should win it hands down.
