I am originally from the Hattiesburg area but now reside in Jackson. Its been a while since I posted on here. Ive been around this board now for almost two years. Dont believe all the stories you hear about me. I am a rabid Southern Miss fan. I think this year we have a shot to have a good season. We have Cal coming to us and we owe them some payback. Did anyone else go to that game last season. There was a good amount of Southern Miss fans out there.

Did any of you happen to see the composite of the addition to M.M. Roberts that was in the ticket application packet. Its a small pic but a good one.

Hope to get to talk with you fellow Eagles some more about Good Ol' Southern Miss.

My twin brother got his B.S. and M.T. from GSU, and I've been to quite a few games in Paulson over the years. Sat through some COLD championship games in Chattanooga in 1998, 1999, and 2000 too.

From Baton Rouge, LA, and reside there currently, but spent late 98 to mid 2002 at USM.

Originally hail from the mean streets of Bogue Chitto, MS (The one in Lincoln County).

Currently residing in Ridgeland, MS.

I have lived in the Valley of the Sun since May 2007 after leaving Columbia Ms. in that year. I came to Arizona and did a national radio show to help get out the news of Katrina needs in Mississippi mostly, but also Louisiana. I no longer do radio, but still live here, but not ruling out a return to the Piney Woods. I am considering heading back to Petal but not sure at this time. I attended USM back in 82 and 83 after graduating from PRCC. I was in Sports Admin. and Coaching so I had class with and knew many of the players and coaches.

OK, I didn't go to USM; I went to William Carey, but we didn't have a football team so I went to Southern Miss and pulled for the Southerners/Golden Eagles. Since I'm not originally from Mississippi and have lived in 11 states, I root for a lot of teams, but I live in Laurel, so it's essentially the home team.
