What could Rodney Hall have done in the 80 days of off season (30 of which were Xmas break) to “get a lot better” to the point where a spring QB competition is now a reality?
You have the retuning MAC freshman POY, who has more game experience than all the QB’s on the roster combined (including Graham), and who is Carey’s clear choice. His only true competition has transfered. Graham has a year of eligibility left but his status is uncertain at best given the type of injuries he has endured. Anthony Thompson has one snap in his entire college career which is one more than Hall. During this time we did recruit another QB, but barring an issue or injury, this scenario does not seem to be one which would result in a QB competition this spring.
