The argument against this is an early exit defeats the entire purpose, and teams would be back to playing in an empty arena.

The other argument against it is that an unbalanced schedule, like the one we had this year where we played the best team in the conference only once, becomes even more unfair if it leads directly to someone hosting the tourney simply because they took advantage of an easier schedule.
