We'll never know; also I don't know what other options the league had.

Cut the tournament to the top 8 teams. Higher seed hosts each game. Quarters on Sunday, Semis on Wednesday, Final on Saturday. Seems like a pretty simple solution that is economical, fair, and will draw crowds.

No. This makes too much sense. Please stop.

I honestly don't love the idea of having a day off between every round and not having all the schools at the same site. It just takes some of the fun of the tournament atmosphere out of it for me.

I still go with let the 1 seed host. You will end up with MTSU, WKU, ODU, hosting most seasons in the near term, and those happen to align pretty well with the areas most people would like to see the tournament held anyway, which kind mitigates the idea that if the 1 seed loses, nobody shows up. That is basically no different than what the case has been or would be if we held the tournament in Nashville every year like some have suggested.

Yea we've literally never been the 1 seed in this tournament so i'm not sure where you're getting that, other than that i pretty much agree with you though

Just picking the top teams in the conference.
