The announcers for this game are the best TV guys I've heard all year. They actually know the players & the league. I liked hearing them talk about the "Mud Bowl" of 2000 between ECU & USM.

Thanks for the compliment. The two guys were Jeff Charles (the Voice of the Pirates) and Billy Weaver (Sports Director for WITN-TV7).

We SUCK! :bang:

Dang, you beat me to it.

The ECU announcers were the best I have ever heard for any USM game.

Billy Weaver is still a tool. He did much better tonight than normal.

Jeff C is the best as always.

Perhaps Carlester Crumpler and Kevin Monroe could join Jeff Charles in the broadcasting booth during ECU intercollegiate athletic telecasts. Then, Billy Weaver could join Marty Fuhrer and Tim Moreland on the Pirate Sports Radio Network.

Of course, Troy Dreyfus may become fearful of a possible dip in his market share with Weaver, Fuhrer and Moreland working in tandem behind the microphone.

Speaking of broadcasts, webcasts and so forth, did anyone listen to Tim Moreland's commentary about his "introductory sports history" curriculum students at Catawba College? The commentary was injected into the live streaming webcast of the ECU/Houston football game in which Dr. Moreland proceeded to denigrate the lack of strong work ethic, morals and values of his students at Catawba College.

Suffice it to say, I would have become quite enraged if one of my collegiate professors had discussed my academic performance in his or her course section via a global streaming webcast on the Internet.
