Both Pearl and Johnson are having improved results in their programs - Pearl more than Johnson so far. That is a fact UAB is faced with as it struggles to find its way in this state's markets. There is plenty of opportunity for all instate programs if they can show the success to claim it. Pearl and Johnson are not UAB's problem right now any more than Malzohn and Saban are Clark's problem. Being pro UAB does not have to mean being anti anyone else - especially when we don't play them.
