But I thought we shot more free throws because we cheat at home and pay the refs? No? That’s what I’ve heard after every home game when we shoot more free throws than the team we beat. Multiple teams have cried it this year.

But I never hear them complain about our guys just watching their team shoot layup after layup as they build a lead against us.

They just don’t get that our guys will give you a layup over choosing to foul you. Early in the year we played a more agressive defense. But we’ve settled into what we are now. We are not going to foul you but we are going to throw down low to JJ and Coleby and our guards are going to drive right at the basket. Almost every trip. We get out of it sometimes and settle for the easy 3 but right now it is our identity.

Sometimes the refs won’t call it like that but that crew last night did. Some of these facile fans think every game should end up with both teams shooting the same number of free throws. It’s ridiculous thinking. It shows that they either aren’t watching what’s actually going on in the game or they’re just dumb homers.

Pomeroy’s numbers back it up. We’re getting to the line at a huge rate compared to the rest of the conference. On the defensive side guess who is putting their opponents on the line the least amount. That would be us.

After every win you hear the same thing over and over how unfair it is. Lmmfao. Unfair. Someone grew up with participation trophies.
