Sat behind a nice sized Jacob Evans contingent that traveled in from Baton Rouge.
Moore had a bunch of family there too.

Cats were great out of the gate, playing fast and loose. Got up to a double digit lead without seeming to try hard. Thought they were going to cruise. Then they started playing out the shot clock on most possessions was sure if it was by plan or because UH tightened their D. And the Cats started playing tight not making shots and gave up their lead.

Same thing continued in the second half. Not making shots. Using up the shot clock and ending up hoisting up a prayer in hoping to get fouled rather than running an offense.

Houston fans were jackwads once they closed the gap at the half to put it nicely. Seemed like many were johnny come latelies (At least the ones near us) as they struggled with understanding the rules of basketball. They have one of the dumbest cheers in basketball...they actually have a cheer when they get possession of the ball..."Whose Ball? Coogs Ball!" Just stupid. And they all stormed the Court after.

Only good thing to report was our FT shooting was exceptional.

The game at home v WSU became a must-win to make sure they win the AAC title and don't run the risk of sharing it.

Kudos to you for making the trip. Can you guess what the crowd size was? From TV it looked like one of their better crowds.

Didn't just make the trip for the Cats. Grandchild lives in Houston and it is his second birthday on Saturday...coming in early to catch the game was a bonus.

Was great to get to sit 7 rows up from the court.
Never get to sit that close in Cincinnati. Wish they'd have won. : (

Crowd was 1/2 full at the start. 2/3s full at the end of the game.
Traffic is hellish in Houston so 6 p.m. start is tough. People kept trickling in as the game wore on.

Guessing there were 100 or so Bearcat fans in attendance.

Thought Gary looked very tired tonight. Wondered if he was ill. Or maybe it is just the long season.
