Nashville would be more of a even split with a Western vs Middle but would look no different than any of the above.

I do think the odds of better crowds for the semis and championship are better playing at Nashville but it's not going to be any different than playing in TX or Virginia or any place else if two close schools are not in the championship game.

Chances are better in Nashville though. WKU, MT, UAB, Charlotte, Marshall and ODU would send fans to a title game if their team got in. Probably USM & LT too. What's the odds of having two TX teams (or even one) in the finals anyway?

Charlotte would be better for travel though

I understand that but other than Western and/or Middle it's going a to be 3k or under if neither is playing. I guess the point I was trying to make....

no matter where it's played unless a team is with in a couple hours drive the fans are going to be very limited it.

But out of every NC, Nashville has the best chance to draw the most. But to get it in Nashville it will take Middle or Western bidding on it or a combination bid. The city probably looks at it as very drivable for Western, Middle and UAB fans so not a lot of hotel rooms from those 3 schools. Unless one of the TX schools had a great season...probably less than 50 rooms each from those schools.

I like Nashville, we go there (about 2 hour drive) at least once a month, during the spring/summer. So I have no problem with it. Cost wise it's going to be expensive for those wanting to stay downtown.
