New Mexico State and, if they can get in, St. Mary's is all I got. Gonzaga doesn't look "on" yet, but, always one to watch, even if they aren't really a mid-major. There isn't really much impressive within the other major conferences, imo. Villanova and Duke are legit, but get the right motions and keep flinging three's...you can see them collapse. Butler and Wichita State are not great teams; good enough on the right night to take out anyone because they can kill you from the outside...and maybe that's going to be the theme of this year's tournament.

No doubt the Big XII and SEC will be well represented this year. Could be a good year for them to have a bunch make it out of the first weekend. And I don't mean Kentucky and Kansas.


Agree about Western Kentucky, but what do you think of their at-Large chances (if any)? One site’s bracketology has them in as an 11 at large with MT taking the auto as a 12.
I think they certainly have the horses to make a run with two new players just ruled eligible.
