I personally think going from a reality star to a talk show host sounds like it was written for a dystopian novel.
But I think that's the problem. Hiring the most powerful person in the world has turned into a reality show. It started with Obama and we got even further afield with Trump. I'm pretty much disgusted with the process. As we all should be with any process that gives us the choice of Trump v. Hillary.

Obama was not a powerful person and he wasn't a reality tv star.

No, but he ran as a rock star, not a conventional presidential candidate. He sold the hype, the sizzle, not the steak. At the end of the day, there was no steak.

Maybe not for you but for me he was a great president. I basically made good on everything I hoped he would do.

Secondly, Clinton before him was a rock star. He even jammed with Fleetwood Mac.

Reagan before him was a movie star.

Obama isn't at fault for everything. Geeeeeeeezzzzzzzzuuuuuusssssss
