If Texas told the sec we will join but want Tulane to be team 16 or 18, you think the sec would say no? I don’t. Now why would texas want Tulane if it joined the sec

1) beefs up the academic standing which is a huge problem for Texas joining the sec
2) easy w which is needed considering all the powers in the sec
3) easy travel and destination city to visit

I can’t imagine any other sec school wanting Texas tech over Tulane if given the choice. As for Texas tech or Houston joining the big 10, if it’s the price of getting Texas, than it’s possible. I could see the big 10 expand to a big number and carve out divisions that allow the original big 10 schools to be placed together. Once the rules about divisions get changed lots of things become possible
