ACC Champion
Big 10 Champion
Big 12 Champion
SEC Champion
PAC 12 Champion
AAC Champion
CUSA Champion
MAC Champion
Mountain West Champion
Sun Belt Champion
The 6 highest ranked teams that are not conference Champions.

Am I a bad Sun Belt fan if I think the winner of the Sun Belt doesn't necessarily deserve an automatic spot in the CFP? or the MAC or CUSA and others?

I think there should be a preliminary playoff between the top 4 G5 teams or G5 champions and the winner of that playoff gets the 8th spot in an 8-team playoff.
