Stu, five year trends mean nothing with the constant changes in conference membership. The basic fact that you refuse to acknowledge is that a conference like the Horizon offers nothing that you can’t get from any other one bid conference. Why leave the WAC for that?

There is no reason for the MVC to take NMSU. They can take Murray State and save on the travel.

The MWC could have brought Wichita State in to get to an even 12. They were not interested. I just don’t see NMSU joining the MWC for Olympic sports. Any expansion in an FBS conference has to bring more revenue.

You may think that NMSU is not going to a bowl game again, but have you seen their schedule for next season? There must be six wins on that schedule.
