While i am not against a regional conference i don't think that is the group of schools that i want ODU to be associated with. American Conf is spread out just like CUSA is but most of them don't need opposing fan bases to fill their stadiums up. While its good to have conference mates that travel well you know you are deep doodoo if you need them to buy significant no of tickets to fill in the stadium. It ain't gonna happen. Admin needs to figure out a way to bring in competent coaches who can recruit and win and that will solve our issues. We played effing campbell and chowan with better crowds than last season for crying out loud. Again conference decisions happen with multiple sports in mind not just FB and well with the exception of UConn't. Imagine having basketball opponents from the schools you mentioned. Other than GaSt with was occasionally decent, it would bring flies to TED. Ain't happening.
