But what they are now describing is not even close to $55 million better than what we have now. It might be more comfortable and have better bathrooms but that’s it. It may even be less attractive. The nice half of JMUs stadium is much nicer than what is described in the paper now. If this is the best they can do, just delay it. I have a better idea. Why not develop a chairback device that is portable and can snap into the current bleachers. Then put them up for sale in the bookstore and at the stadium. Those that place such a premium on chairbacks will be willing to buy them and we save $55M and perhaps even make a little.

In all seriousness this switch bait is just bush league and while i don't expect the new stadium or what ever they wanna call it to have all bells and whistles and expect them all at once and frankly we will no way be able to afford one anyway. Why not build a real good stadium in phases even if its chair backs only for premium sections and bleachers for rest. I don't get this at all. Georgia Southern built a nice stadium for ~60 MM or something along those lines and of course we now have to factor in inflation their stadium looks much nicer than ours sans our game day building. Shame on you Woody Boy.

Well there we go. Now build a private bathroom for donors over a threshold and no need to do anything else.
