As far as basketball goes no team has been a bigger winner in realignment than Villanova. They were a borderline top 5 program in the conference before the breakup and now they're a top 5 national program. Get to play a bunch of good teams without anyone near good enough to challenge them for the top spot. No longer have to play the BE football schools with bottom feeder hoops. Break up of the BE is the best thing that ever happened to them
