RE: MBB: News about 2017-18 opponents
Kent State defeated Northern Illinois 61-59. NIU's season ends at 13-19, 6-12 in the MAC.

Central Michigan defeated Bowling Green 81-77 in overtime. BG's season ends at 16-16, 7-11 in the MAC.

Miami beat Ohio 68-55. Ohio's season ends at 14-17, 7-11 in the MAC.

Akron gets the only road win of the first round, defeating Western Michigan 79-78. Western's season ends at 17-15, 9-9 in the MAC. Unless 17-15 is enough to get an invitation to the CBI or CIT. Or any other tournaments they've come up with.

Cleveland State keeps its dream alive, edging Oakland in a "shootout".03-wink 44-43 final. Oakland is 19-14, 10-8 in the Horizon. We'll see if the Grizzlies get a bid somewhere.

Games on March 6th -

Cleveland State meets Wright State in the Horizon League championship game (7 Eastern on ESPN; Toledo played both squads)

Syracuse meets Wake Forest in the first round of the ACC tournament (7 Eastern on ESPNU)

Jackson State at Southern in a SWAC quarterfinal (8:30 Eastern)

Texas State hosts Alabama State in a SWAC quarterfinal (9 Eastern)
