Actually, he didn't come up with it. The Dems started this a while ago with the idea that owners shouldn't be getting tax benefits from citizens to build their playgrounds.

Republicans in congress jumped on board recently given the protests.

Trump wasn't the first. He's just the most recent.

But one thing is for certain: at this point there seems to be bi-partisan support for cutting tax breaks.


Imagine this -- we've seen the last great sports arena built in the U.S. From now on, budgets will be scaled given the lack of revenue/tax benefit.
