I said from day one they were doing their cause a disservice by their actions, their efforts would have been better expended protesting in the communities, like outside a particular precinct or at city hall, where their perceived injustices actually occurred.

White people don't appear to pay attention to black protests at city hall. That's why they protest at NFL games.
