You could tell santa was not able to handle the wet ball, wind, etc. Carey saw this and yanked him instantly.

Then why would he put him back in? He said in his press conference that Childers was going in on the 3rd series no matter what. I was hoping you were done with the nonsense statements; you fell off the wagon with this one.

Carey is trying to be diplomatic so that no QB is out of the mix, he is going to rotate QBs the rest of the year, so you don't want to give the impression you have given up on anyone. Santa was put back in during garbage time.
