If they did call a RPO in that situation with a young, inexperienced QB, that shows you how much confidence they had in him. Since that play Santa has played 3 series; and it is likely he will not only be replaced as the starter, but, dependent on Graham status, could possibly be 3rd on the depth chart.

This is tough one to wrap your head around.

I wouldn't read that much into it. That play is a staple of the offense. They run it all the time.
