I mean.....watch the video. It's a called run play with Tears running a fade on the back side.

I've seen the play plenty of times. He did have a lane to run but they were pass blocking in front him. And he would have had to juke one guy but he was never going to run. You have no clue what you're talking about. You're saying Santa took a running play and took it upon himself to pass...

Man what are you talking about? It's a designed run play where the QB has the option to pull it and throw the fade if he likes the look. NIU runs this play probably 10-15 times a game.

And I'm sorry, but by saying they're pass blocking you show you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. They're clearly run blocking.

You can't blame the coaches for Santa screwing this up. He probably should have just handed it off, and then the throw was just brutal. Not everything is the coaches fault.

Yeah, this has been a commonly run play from NIU for awhile now. When you watch the repaly you can see all of the oline firing out and driving the DL back. No one was drop back to pass block
