I think Jones will remain coach, because I expect no one to beat Alabama and Georgia this season prior to the SEC Championship game. His buyout is $4 Million, and at some point you have to weigh the return on that investment. I think South Carolina and Kentucky are must-win games - of Tennessee drops one or both of those, then it's time to pull the trigger.

Kind of leaning this way at this point in time. Georgia was a blow out and at home so people in Tennessee are fuming right now. The Florida loss came on a Hail Mary and was close all the way to the end. If the Vols win the rest of their games EXCEPT FOR ALABAMA and win their bowl game at the end of the season, Jones gets another year. The rest of their schedule is not that bad except for Bama and LSU and LSU is on the nest laying eggs too especially with the Troy loss. Loose any or multiple games on the schedule going forward besides the Bama game then Jones is done. A $4 million dollar buyout is cheap for the SEC and Tennessee. 07-coffee3 04-cheers 05-stirthepot
