There's a few. I'm sure there are more. You can also put in personal experiences I've had with my churches and communities following natural disasters and other tragedies.

Take note, I said "often times", not "always" in my original post. The stupid meme implies that thoughts and prayers are useless and tries to suggest that supplies and relief efforts are more needed even though the storm is ongoing in some places and direct physical help and supply shipments aren't necessarily possible yet.

Praying doesn't hurt, but action is required when appropriate. Just seems hypocritical to want someone's time and or money, but ridicule that same person's prayers and thoughts.
