The thread is about whether or not a gang database is necessary or not.

I have presented information suggesting that it isn't and that in fact, it's mostly just hype

Trump's ranting about it is an example of that hype.

You've presented anecdotal experiences about your local gang database and said, in your opinion, the database is racist.

Trump's ranting, one way or another, has nothing to do with your contention of racism. He's not running the database nor using it.

My civil libertarian side has issues with a gang database. However, to claim it is racist or a racist tool is boundless. You've made no factual argument to suggest it is.
