Maybe under Florida law, never practiced there. In Arkansas judge would laugh at you and explain that inconvenient and impossible are not the same thing. Having to spend more money, take more time, hire more people, work overtime, work weekends, etc are just inconvenient.

Not sure what an Arkansas judge can do to Miami? I'm not sure they have many assets there. 07-coffee3

So much for actual discussion. Forget jerk is your bit here.

How was my comment any more snarky than yours? Talking about what an Arkansas judge would "laugh at"?

Sadly, your AD set a bad example of poor form in his statement, and you Arkies seem to be following it. You are the ones spilling bitter tears over your garsh-darn lost football game while a giant hurricane spins towards Miami.

It's unseemly, really. 07-coffee3

Oh go polish your halo

Yes Arkansas State's AD was real classless offering to play the game earlier since it would permit Miami to return a minimum of 48 hours prior landfall if it makes landfall in south Florida. Offering to cover Miami's charter costs, extra hotel days, food, and provide facilities for Miami to work out, train, practice, and treat players. Just nasty behavior on his part.

And for reference. He was assistant AD at FAU some years back. When FAU was in Jonesboro he didn't get to come with the team to watch FAU play his alma mater, he was in Boca organizing the evacuation of student athletes to get them out of the way of Hurricane Wilma. Terrible human with no understanding of hurricanes.

Given that Arkansas and Florida are both UCC and common law states, doubt Florida is that wild and crazy different in interpreting contracts.
