Second that. The Western Illinois game cost the team a bowl game last year so I do not see NIU losing two straight at home to an FCS school. Probably will need this one to get to six wins this year.

I thought before the season NIU would finish end this season somewhere between 5 - 7 to 7 - 5 and after going to the game last night I didn't see anything to change my perception of that. There are a lot of good things going on across the roster but without elite production from the QB position it will be really tough to win the MAC.

FCS wins really dont count for Bowl Games this year. So yeah, we needed that win at home for a home opener and Frazier set up the game. Not playing on Saturday was stupid. We need recruits to come to games, they can watch us on tv some other time.

Is that a new change? I thought you can still count one FCS win toward eligibility.

Yes you can count one but that school has to have used 90% of their 63 scholarships in the last two years for it to count. I was told EIU didnt meet that.
