RE: Irma could become hurricane by Friday...
On a lighter note, I can confirm that the evacuees have made their way to Birmingham. This morning my wife and I went to a local diner for breakfast. There was a group of older people sitting next to us with the most god awful yankee accents that I've ever heard. I gathered that they were retirees that did what old folks from up north do; they moved to south Florida.

Anyway, they kept complaining about the grits. It apparently wasn't up to their standards. I thought it was hilarious that a group of yankees were complaining about the quality of grits that were prepared by Southern cooks at an Alabama diner.
