Maybe I got you mixed up with someone else. I could have sworn that you said you evacuated early during a previous storm.

Early would be 3-4 before forecasted landfall... Not 7-10 days and without a forecasted landfall. Use reason.

Yea, 3-4 days if you live in a congested area of 6 1/2 MM people and the interstates are all clogged all the time already. I don't know where Kap lives or that area, but if we ever had to flee a storm or flood waters we could do so with a couple hours notice.
