Those 11 wins straight included wins over #19 Memphis, Stanford, at Florida State, at USC, #18 Michigan State, at #12 Illinois.

The 12 losses included 8 Big 10 road games and 2 neutral site games. And Tubby was fired 2 days after his team defeated #24 UCLA in the NCAAs. By a new AD who wanted to hire a young coach, the same AD who was sexually harassing staff.

Think that is a slightly more fair recap of Tubby's last year at Minnesota, Stammers?

Yes, in all fairness, I should have mentioned that it was Tubby's best season in his last 10; the year where he performed a miracle and won an NCAA tournament game 5 years ago...and then was fired after the fanbase had enough...and was only able to convince Texas Tech to hire him.

Crazed in your hatred for Tubby, yes. Twisting statistics in nearly every extended rant to tar our coach, who has only been here for one year, yes. One thing you are definitely not is fair.

The same Tech that hired a HOF coach for $1.6 million with an annual increase of $100,000 per year without a care in the world that anyone else would want him. $1.6 million at a nothing school is Tubby's sweet spot. It's where he belongs.

If he was worth more to Tech they would have paid him more in the first place.
